I Hate Calling it Artificial Intelligence

This is a slight rant, that pertains to the general discussion of what we like to call artificial "intelligence". These days it's all the rage, in every piece of hardware and software you own, slap on a custom local LLM and boom, you've got an Ai infused toaster!

Don't get me wrong, I am not hater of the LLM's. I use them daily, for teaching my Riemann Sum's to finding the bug in my code, to learning more C++ pointer syntax. It's a tool that has rapidly evolved to something more and can impact and help so many people.

But it's not intelligent. It doesn't think in the sense a human would, it has no neurons firing or gaining new connections, it's a glorified auto complete, trained on our work.

It's a reminder to keep creating. We are the masterminds behind ChatGPT, and all other large language models. They are trained on our creativity, our ingenuity, depravity, greed, and everything that makes us human.

Don't get overwhelmed. All you need to do is live your life, create, and put it out into the world. Iterate, Iterate, Iterate.
